Match Review

Klay Thompson missed the game with a sore lower back, and Kerr fielded a set of starters that had never been used before, leaving Poole, Kuminga and Lamb to partner Kuchai, with DiVincenzo and Looney on the bench. After the opening, both sides played fast, and in the high-speed transition, the Thunder obviously had more tacit understanding between the players and found their hands faster, and all five starters scored, including two rookie Williams in the front court, who hit three-pointers one after another, and quickly stopped the Warriors 17-9.

After the timeout, Kerr replaced Looney and DiVincenzo, and the effect was immediate, the latter with two three-pointers to stabilize the team, and Curry finally opened the scoring from outside the three-point line. With 15.1 seconds left in the first quarter, Poole hit a 30-foot shot to tie the score 36-37, but opposite Aaron Wiggins received an assist from Alexander for a layup to give the Thunder a three-point lead at 39-36. Throughout the first quarter, the Thunder shot 15 of 26 from the field, with amazing efficiency.

In the second quarter, Moody came on the court and hit a three-pointer, and then Curry began to kill and scored 11 points in more than two minutes, and the Warriors' offense fully returned to normal levels. However, as a young team, the Thunder were also unreceptive in the tailwind, who took who shot, who shot who had, after the two teams played off, the point difference not only did not narrow, but opened to 79-69 after Jaylen Williams hit another three-point shot 2.1 seconds before halftime.

Curry scored 24 points in the half, but the Thunder shot 8-of-14 from beyond the three-point line, had 15 assists and just two turnovers.

In the second half, Cole came to his senses and replaced Lamb and Kuminga with a regular starter with Lonidy Vincenzo. The Thunder's hand finally began to cool, and the Warriors' side Curry, DiVincenzo, and Poole continued their outside firepower, and the gap quickly narrowed to less than 5 points. 3:17 before the end of the quarter, Moody hit a three-point shot to put the Warriors at 96-97, but Alexander hit back-to-back free throws, Saric also hit a three-pointer, and Green hit a 25.1-second layup, leaving the Warriors still trailing by four points at 102-106.

Saric didn't start a technical foul in the fourth quarter because he complained about a technical foul before the end of the third quarter, and Curry received a free throw. With 10 minutes and 17 seconds left in the end, Poole received a three-point shot from Looney, and the Warriors finally tied the score! Curry took a short break and Poole scored consecutive points to further help the team complete the comeback.

With 6:33 left in the game, Alexander hit two free throws to get the two sides back on the same line 115-115, but Curry immediately hit a 3-pointer, Green scored another empty layup, and Thunder coach Daignault complained that the referee had a technical foul, and Curry hit another free throw, and the gap was stretched to more than 5 points. At key moments, the Thunder relied on Alexander to chase points, but the Warriors were already in rhythm, and DiVincenzo's breakthrough, Payton's basket, and Poole's free throws kept the team with a safe lead. In the final 3 minutes of the game, Poole hit a three-point counterattack and scored five straight points to stretch the score to 133-120, and the Thunder immediately withdrew the main team and threw in the line.
