The author's favorite thing to watch is, of course, Zhao Yazhi's version of this drama, but the role of Bai Suzhen is not my favorite. For the role of Bai Suzhen, I think the role of Wang Zuxian in the movie is more in line with my heart.

Even if "Green Snake" is rewritten again from Li Bihua's perspective, its general direction still has to go towards the original story, otherwise, the novel may be successful, and no one may pay for the filming.
Although "Green Snake" has Xiaoqing as the first heroine, I think the film's treatment of Bai Suzhen exceeds all other versions of Bai Niangniang, and it is more in line with my view of a female leprechaun who has practiced for thousands of years.

Marrying Xu Xian is not for the reason to repay the favor, but just to experience a worldly love.
