Synopsis
The plot of the whole game is not long, and there are 3 protagonists of the videotape, namely Nathan, Alice and the male protagonist controlled by the player.
The story begins with the male protagonist's younger brother Nathan disappearing, in order to find Nathan, the male protagonist comes to an abandoned medical clinic to find clues about his brother.
The first video tape that the male protagonist found was his younger brother Nathan, and after opening the videotape, the male protagonist saw the last image of his brother before his death.
Nathan came here because of a sleep disorder, and it is said that the experts here are very professional. When the player explores from his brother's perspective, he will find that some kind of secret experiment seems to be going on in this hospital.
At the same time, the phone rings repeatedly in BGM.
At the end of the videotape, Nathan's death report sheet states that Nathan had a device error due to medical staff error and incoming phone communication.
Immediately afterwards, the player finds the second videotape, which features a lady named Alice.
At first, the player did not know what Alice had to do with Nathan's death, but as the game deepened, the player saw her husband hanged in the basement of the house from Alice's perspective, and Alice, who lost her other half, took her daughter to work in the hospital, but helplessly the daughter did not like to stay in the hospital, and could only leave her alone at home.
But her daughter was shot and killed by two bandits who broke into the door on a rainstorming night.
Alice finally had a nervous breakdown and chose to commit suicide by jumping off the building.
And the hospital where Alice works happens to be the one where Nathan went to treat.

The whole game feels very much like Layers of Fear 1, including walking through the room over and over again while exploring the map, but when I turn the corner, I find that the corridor has changed.
Even in Alice's family tragedy, you can see the mental state of the painter's family in "Layers of Fear 1". But the difference is that "Layer of Fear 1" only focuses on the tragedy of the painter's family, while "Horror Video" is based on Nathan's death, wrapped in Alice's family tragedy, and then hidden in a mysterious experiment about an abandoned hospital.
