To this day, four famous Buddhist mountains have been born in China. They are Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang, Emei Mountain in Sichuan, and Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui. Buddhism considers wind, water, fire and earth to be the basic elements that make up matter.
