08 Feb (02 February) - The Argentine League Defence and Justice Club has officially announced that Crespo is no longer the team manager, having just led the team to victory over Lanus last month to win the South American Cup, the first intercontinental title in the club's history.

The Defence and Justice Corps wrote in an official announcement:

"We would like to thank Hernan Crespo and his coaching staff for their outstanding work at the club, who won the recognition of the whole team with his serious, humble work attitude and dedication, and led the team to the 2020 South American Cup, which is also the first intercontinental event trophy in the club's history."

"The Defence and Justice team will resume training tomorrow afternoon under coach Pablo de Muner."

According to Gold, Crespo has been associated with a number of Argentine teams (Athletic, San Lorenzo and Indie), but his most likely next home is actually São Paulo. The rumors have intensified in recent hours, but the only thing that is certain is that Crespo has left the Defence and Justice Corps.
