Kenta Kiritani & Masataka Higashito co-starred as the tallest duo at TV Asahi

Actors Kenta Kiritani (39) and Masadai Higashiide (31) will play the dual lead roles in the TV series "24 Hours of Criminal Police and Prosecutors and District Inspection" (9 p.m. on Thursday) to air on TV Asahi in January next year. The 181 cm tall Kiritani and 189 cm Higashiide duo reached 370 cm in height, breaking the previous record of 368 cm in total height set by Hideaki Ito (44 years old 183 cm) and Kenji Sakaguchi (44 years old 185 cm), becoming the tallest pair in TV Asahi.

The drama takes place in Yokohama and tells the story of criminal police and prosecutors fighting each other while solving difficult cases. Higashiide plays Shuhei Majima, a yokohama district prosecutor who graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tokyo and passed the judicial examination, with a high degree and strong self-esteem, but often only on paper, unable to solve important events, Higashi laughed and said, "Vanity, like to show their place is somewhat similar to me." ”

Kiritani, on the other hand, plays Hirota Nakaito, a former physical education teacher with strong wrist strength and rich feelings but not good at reading, "Recently I have become a little sentimental... These aspects are very similar to Howota, so there is no feeling of playing, more like as Howota herself to cry, to laugh, to scream, to run..." Kiritani himself seems to have resonated with Howota.

With completely opposite personalities but both tall, Kiritani believes that "although there will be confrontations, they will definitely find similarities, and they are very much looking forward to the rivalry between the two, hoping to work together to create the best characters."
