Important German cabinet members rushed to Taiwan on the 21st, Scholz: China does not want to change the status quo in the Taiwan Strait by force

The trees are quiet, but the wind is not stopping. The interference of external forces in the Taiwan issue has intensified, and there is really a tendency for this side to sing and that side to take the stage, the United States is the culprit, Britain is the first "follower", France also makes noise from time to time, and now, Germany is also openly clamoring.

Let's start with facts! Two recent events -

First, important members of Germany's cabinet will visit Taiwan next week. According to the Financial Times, Taiwan's Central News Agency and Bloomberg News Agency on March 18, a spokesman for the German Ministry of Education and Research said that German Education and Research Minister Stark Wazinger is scheduled to arrive in Taipei next Tuesday (March 21) for a two-day visit.

You know, Stark Watzinger is an important cabinet member of the German government, and this is the first German minister to visit Taiwan in nearly 26 years.

Previously, during last year's National Day, Weiersch, chairman of the "Friendly Taiwan Group" of the German Parliament, visited Taiwan from October 2 to 6, 2022 with a six-member delegation, including five cross-party vice chairmen of the "Friendly Taiwan Group", namely Vice Chairman Katrin Budde and Vice Chairman Dr. Xu Defen. Till Steffen), and Vice Chairman Dr. Cardifold Rainer Kraft)。

In response, the German side quibbled that the delegation was an unofficial representative. However, the visit to Taiwan by Stark Wattinger, a key German cabinet member and Minister of Education and Research, is a blatant and blatant provocation.

Second, German Chancellor Scholz warned China not to change the status quo in Taiwan by force

It was not the United States that warned China not to change the situation in Taiwan by force, but German Chancellor Scholz, who had just taken 10 billion orders in China with a huge delegation.

This news really makes people can't believe their ears, and I hope that I heard it wrong, but everything is really happening, and we can't believe it.

In a March 16 interview with the Nikkei in Berlin, Scholz said his Asia policy is to deepen partnerships amid transformation. Asked about Taiwan, Scholz made it clear that force cannot be used to change the status quo.

The Taiwan issue is China's internal affair, and it is China's own business in any way, and it is not Scholz's turn to dictate. The Taiwan issue is China's red line, no one is qualified to say anything, this point, Scholz cannot be unclear, surprisingly, Scholz knowingly committed the crime.

In a key interview ahead of the trip, Scholz also said Germany would reduce its economic dependence on China, promising that Germany would avoid "one-sided dependence on individual countries and open up new sales markets." But it is not intended to completely "decouple" from China.

On how to define Sino-German relations, Scholz used four key words: economic power, partner, competitor and institutional rival.

How to see the above questions, let's briefly say two points!

First, we may be fooled again, Germany wants to step on two boats, as long as China's economic dividend, but on the issue of China's sovereignty

As we all know, last November, German Chancellor Scholz visited China with a "heavyweight" business delegation, which sent a signal that Germany and China should strengthen communication and coordination on global issues, and also released a signal for the healthy development of Sino-German and Sino-European relations. He has also said many times that China should not be decoupled and that cooperation with China should be strengthened.

It is worth mentioning that before his visit to China last year, Scholz publicly wrote an article in the newspaper in order to achieve the purpose of his visit to China, shouting to the Chinese side that the German side is concerned about the situation in the Taiwan Strait and pursues the "one-China" policy, aiming at safeguarding international order, calling for a peaceful settlement of the Taiwan issue, and encouraging the two sides to sign an agreement to ensure peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.

As early as March 28, 2014, China and Germany issued the Joint Statement on Establishing a Sino-German All-round Strategic Partnership in Berlin, Germany. The two sides stressed mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity. Germany reiterates its adherence to the one-China policy and supports the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

However, judging from the current situation, Scholz is going the other way, even saying one thing and doing another, not only wanting to obtain more benefits through economic and trade exchanges with the Chinese mainland, while reducing economic dependence on China, taking as many benefits from China as possible, and letting China benefit less, and also wanting to move closer to Western partners, dividing "circle of friends" through ideology, and supporting Taiwan, the so-called "democratic partner."

On the one hand, German Minister of Education and Research Stark Wattinger will visit Taiwan next Tuesday; On the other hand, German Foreign Minister Baber is preparing to visit Beijing in April or May. German diplomats say Mr. Baber's planned trip to Beijing is part of an effort to put bilateral relations on a more stable trajectory that allows the two countries to focus on economic issues of mutual concern.

What is the heart of two high-ranking German ministers, one going to Taiwan and the other visiting Beijing? Even a German diplomat asked: "On the one hand, we sent a foreign minister (to Beijing) to promote a new round of bilateral government consultations, which have not been held since 2021 due to the pandemic; On the other hand, a minister went to Taiwan first – what kind of message are we sending to China?"

Obviously, Germany wants to take advantage of China's economic development and hollow out the one-China principle!

Second, the United States and the West have been complicit in provoking the Taiwan issue one after another, from the United States, Britain, France, and Germany, once again showing that "the Taiwan issue is becoming more and more complicated."

The current German government is moving closer and closer to the United States, blatantly breaking its commitments to China. From January 9 to 12 this year, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, member of the Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP) and chairman of the defense committee of the Bundestag, led a delegation of parliamentarians to Taiwan, becoming the first German delegation to come to Taiwan this year.

Among them, Johannes Vogel, vice chairman of the defense committee of the German Bundestag, said at a press conference after arriving in Taiwan: "We want to make it clear that the military threat from Beijing is unacceptable." I hope you will see that this visit has shown our support. ”

Germany is unscrupulous and more blatant on the Taiwan issue. What's even scarier is that this is not an isolated case. In a recent telephone conference call, Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, commander of the U.S. Pacific Air Force, said that if war broke out in the Taiwan Strait, the first thing his troops would do would be to "sink" Chinese warships.

The latest news, Britain and France are also a little restless on the Taiwan issue.

British Prime Minister Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron held the 36th Anglo-French Summit in Paris on March 10 and issued a joint declaration, saying something about the Taiwan issue: "France and the United Kingdom reaffirm the importance of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and call for a peaceful settlement of the cross-strait issue." ”

Three days later, the British government released the "Integrated Assessment of Security, Defense and Foreign Policy" report, which mentioned the alleged threat of Chinese mainland to Taiwan. This is the first time the UK has made such a statement in the annual report.

Not only that, according to the exclusive disclosure of the British Reuters, the British government approved relevant British military enterprises to secretly export submarine parts and technology worth 167 million pounds to the Taiwan authorities from January to September last year.

The new version of the defense report released by the United Kingdom not only regards China as an "epoch-making challenge", but also mentions the so-called "threat" of Taiwan by Chinese mainland for the first time.

Third, no matter how complicated the situation in the Taiwan Strait is, Taiwan must return to the motherland and inevitably return, and this is the general trend of the times that no one can stop

The Taiwan issue has always been a red line drawn by China, whether it is the United States, Germany, Britain, France, if anyone dares to do anything wrong, China will definitely not be polite.

This time, if German Chancellor Scholz insists on going his own way and letting the education minister, who is an important member of the cabinet, visit Taiwan, it will definitely be a "stinky move", which will only seriously affect Sino-German relations.

Taiwan's 1.4 billion Chinese tomorrow has the final say, Taiwan's sovereignty is firmly in the hands of the 1.4 billion Chinese sons and daughters, and no one should wrench the wrist with the 1.4 billion Chinese sons and daughters on the issue of China's sovereignty! Otherwise, you will only provoke fire and set yourself on fire!

This is our advice and our warning!
