Life
Even if you think of Chen Zhaodi, who is known as "Desperate Sanlang", this has nothing to do with all her previous efforts, and they are all closely linked.
Chen Zhaodi was born in 1995 in an ordinary family in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and her father died of cancer when she was a child.
When she was a child, Chen Zhaodi was very active and active, when every class ended, she pinned a ping-pong racket around her waist and ran to the playground, in addition to playing table tennis, she could also basketball and volleyball.
Under the observation of the school's physical education teacher, combined with Chen Zhaodi's taller height than her age at that time, including her strong physical fitness, he synthesized his opinions and let Chen Zhaodi contact the sport of volleyball.
In 1972, Chen Zhaodi entered the amateur sports school and began to formally learn volleyball, and then was recognized and recommended by the coach, she went to Beijing alone, went to the youth team of Beijing Sports Institute for volleyball training, and graduated from the training team of Beijing Sports Institute.
Determined to join the army
At the same time, Chen Zhaodi became mature as she grew older, so she decided to join the army, to be a Chinese People's Liberation Army, to contribute to the country, and to do what she said, she entered the Bayi women's volleyball team the following year.
In 1976, with her talent and all kinds of efforts, she showed her prominence in the army for one year and was selected by the national volleyball training team, as if she was favored by God, Chen Zhaodi opened her volleyball supergod road, and she won the 6th place in the second "World Cup" women's volleyball in 1977.
A year later, she won the 6th place in the 8th Women's World Volleyball Championship and won the runner-up of the 8th Asian Games Women's Volleyball, and the progress visible to the naked eye was due to the skills and precipitation she had trained over the years.
Chen Zhaodi went from runner-up to champion in just one year, winning the 2nd Asian Women's Volleyball Championship in 1979, and her luck was much more than that.
In 1980, Chen Zhaodi was awarded the title of "athlete", which is extremely high-content, which is not only a recognition of strength for athletes, but also a recognition of her by the state.
Chen Zhaodi has also been continuing her myth, never stopping, winning the 9th World Women's Volleyball Championship in 1982 and the 9th Asian Games Women's Volleyball Championship, winning the double championship again.
Chen Zhaodi's hard-working volleyball spirit impressed the motherland, and in 1983 she was elected as a deputy to the Sixth National People's Congress, and the National Sports Commission awarded her an honorary medal, followed by the "Bayi" women's volleyball deputy political commissar in the same year.
Since 1993, Chen Zhaodi has been unable to play for the country and participate in competitions due to years of overloaded sports and breaking through physical limits, so she turned to work behind the scenes and served as the vice president and advisor of the Chinese Volleyball Association for a long time.
Although she has retired to the background, she has been using this spare time to pay attention to the development of Chinese volleyball, and she will silently help the women's volleyball team.
Fast forward to 2006, which was also the moment when her dream from childhood came true, when the Central Military Commission approved Chen Zhaodi as a major general in her life, saying, "If winning the championship is the persistent pursuit of an athlete and the glorious dream of becoming a general is a soldier's glorious dream, then now, I am really a dream come true." For me personally, though, it's both an encouragement and a spur.
She took the solemn military uniform with her hands full of stories, and she smiled sweetly, she was proud that she was the first female general in China to come out of sports.
Chen Zhaodi seems to be favored by God, in fact, her own efforts are indispensable, from fledgling athletes, to mature and experienced head coaches, from bureau chief to deputy minister, mainly because they firmly believe in the "spirit of the old women's volleyball team".

Sudden death
When everyone was immersed in a peaceful and stable life, Chen Zhaodi, a Chinese female general who inspired an era and was the representative of the Chinese sports spirit in the 80s, died at 3 p.m. on April 1, 2013.
At five o'clock in the afternoon of April 1, Chen Zhaodi's daughter held her mother's military uniform and sighed, "If there is an afterlife, I will be your daughter in the next life."
April 1, 3 p.m. - The daughter's head has been looping a second of conversation with her mother, and her mother promised her to celebrate her birthday together, but her mother left two days before her daughter's birthday, and the daughter said, "You lied to me again, I don't hate your mother, I still love you, mother I love you."
At two o'clock in the afternoon of April 1—Chen Zhaodi's condition deteriorated and she was pushed into the operating room, and her daughter said, "Seeing you being rescued, I can only watch, wait, come on mom, come on."
In mid-February, Chen Zhaodi was seriously ill and hospitalized, and her daughter described it as "I no longer insist, as long as you are not uncomfortable, see you uncomfortable, I feel more distressed than anyone".
Yang Ke believes: how much her daughter wants to go back in time, no matter how tired and aggrieved, when she comes home and sees her mother calling "Mom", all grievances disappear in an instant, happily embracing her mother's arms, eating stir-fried dishes on the table full of her mother's exclusive taste, rice falling on the table, and her mother will accuse the farmer of the hard work and demand not to waste food.
But now I can no longer hear my mother's nagging and my mother's comfort, push open the door, the cold sofa, the dusty dining table, the kitchen no longer stir-frying, the home is so quiet, as if you can hear your heartbeat.
The funeral ceremony was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., but many people gathered outside the door to remember Chen Zhaodi.
The old women's volleyball team also came to the auditorium early, and they used a lot of chrysanthemums to tie a large volleyball ball with writing, "81 years old women's volleyball salute," but also deeply into their hearts, because this is the "old women's volleyball" lineup that became famous in Japan in 1981.
None of them expected that Chen Zhaodi, who was the youngest and only 58 years old, would be the first to leave the team, and they all moistened their eyes, and they couldn't even get together the old women's volleyball team anymore.

Many people came to mourn the funeral ceremony, and everyone was very sad, and the farewell ceremony was over, but they were reluctant to leave, and finally forced to close the ceremony.
When Chen Zhaodi's body was cremated, her relatives found that several steel nails could be faintly seen in her urn, which were the steel nails left in the body by Chen Zhaodi's treatment of the lumbar operation, that is, she was a relic of pain.
At the same time, it is also her medal of outstanding combat achievements, which will inspire more volleyball players in us, and also encourage modern young people to work hard, not afraid of difficulties, and move forward bravely.
After many years, her daughter Guo Chen regarded Chen Zhaodi as a role model, and with her efforts, she inherited the mantle and joined the Bayi team as a sand volleyball player.
