The drama "Ice Peacock" is the first work successfully incubated by the "New Text Incubation" program of Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center. According to producer Yi Wei, this will be a "sudden" original innovative drama in the drama market in the second half of the year, and what the audience will see in "Ice Peacock" is that "real communication is interrupted by stylized narratives, virtual live broadcast pictures are reflected in real scenes, and the performance style of variety has become a certain expression vocabulary." The stage play "Mountain" is adapted from Liu Cixin's short story of the same name. Some commentators believe that Liu Cixin is good at using contrast in stories, and usually sees the big in the small. Death Trap is a 1978 play by renowned American thriller Ira Levin that holds the record for the longest-running thriller suspense drama on Broadway, and in 1982 it was adapted into a film of the same name, starring Christopher Reeve and Michael Caine. In 2011, the Chinese version of "Death Trap" was performed in Shanghai for 21 consecutive performances, and the venue was full. Ten years later, the show will come to Shanghai again.

In the view of Xu Zidong, a professor at the Department of Chinese at Lingnan University in Hong Kong, Zhang Ailing's way of describing love is different from many other writers of the same era, although her white tassel does not talk about enlightenment, spiritual love, poetry and big problems in life, it is all small details of life, and there are calculations to find "meal tickets" in love, but she does have a fairly accurate grasp of the details of life, and she has a rather sharp observation of women's instinctive attempts to compete for sovereignty in intimate relationships.

The stage play "Fifteen Days of Two Capitals" is based on real history and tells a thrilling story. In the first year of Hong Xi, Emperor Zhu Gaozi was critically ill, and at this time, the "dragon ship" of The Crown Prince Zhu Zhanji, who was about to arrive in Nanjing to inspect the earthquake disaster, also exploded. Fortunately, the prince was rescued by Wu Dingyuan, a small nanjing catcher, and with the assistance of the small sesame official Yu Qian and the female physician Su Jingxi, the four of them began a desperate journey along the Cao River.
The drama is in line with Ma Boyong's novel of the same name, which takes place along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to show the audience the customs and humanities on both sides of the canal, and also outlines a vivid picture of the life of the city in the Ming Dynasty. It is worth mentioning that "Fifteen Days of Two Capitals" breaks through the production methods of traditional stage dramas and integrates various artistic elements such as martial arts, dance, and opera. "Daddy's Bed" is a masterpiece by the famous Dutch contemporary playwright Magne van Den Borg, adapted locally by The Theater, and invited German directors and French stage designers, as well as Chinese actor Wang Xuexi and Shanghai Theater Academy acting teacher Zhou Minghan to jointly create. The story tells the story of a father and daughter who communicate only on the phone, the father is about to remarry after the death of his wife, and needs to dispose of the old furniture and old photos of the family, and the daughter is very dissatisfied. On stage, they never "meet," just talk, discuss, argue over the phone.
After many phone calls, the father and daughter finally came out of the closed "carton", broke the barrier and communicated head-on. How can they rebuild their sense of security in the face of new changes in their lives? How to deal with relationships with loved ones? The play uses twenty-four phone calls to artistically reflect the current state of today's aging society and also makes people reflect on the key role that parent-child relationship plays in it.

"When Love Is a Thing of the Past" was drafted and named by musician Lee Jong-sheng and directed by Broadway Tony Award for Best Director John Rando. The whole drama adopts the American Broadway classic "Jukebox Musical" mode, selects nearly thirty classic musical works of Li Zongsheng to connect the entire musical, and cleverly integrates music and plot organically, so that the audience can appreciate Li Zongsheng's music and enter the classics at the same time, experience a story of love and separation.
"When Love Is a Thing of the Past" debuted on stage in November 2019 and has been widely recognized by audiences in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and other places. Starting in October this year, the show will embark on a new national tour, presenting an "all-star" version of the luxurious performance lineup for the audience. Actors Bai Baihe and Wang Kai, as well as singers Wang Zhengliang, Jin Chi and Wang Zheng, will lead the way in the Beijing performance in October.

"Painted Skin 2677" takes the famous "Painted Skin" from the traditional Chinese classic "Liaozhai Zhiyi" as the creative inspiration to tell a love story that will occur in the future world. The director hopes to break through the inherent "viewing relationship" in traditional drama and explore the "appearance" and "sincerity" of everything in the world with the audience.
In the play, the audience is no longer just the audience, but also the player in the play. In addition to the time setting of the story background taking place in the "future world", those who take the initiative to enter the play will get more information and a more realistic experience, and the story level will also emphasize the audience's sense of participation, such as setting up the audience to unlock the task interaction link, and the choice of the participants will have an important impact on the plot advancement and plot presentation.
