Live Bar August 26 - The F1 Alpine team officially announced that it has renewed its contract with Spanish driver Fernando Alonso until the end of the 2022 season.
Fernando Alonso, 40, won the F1 Drivers' Championship twice in 2005 and 2006 for Renault. Alonso also played for McLaren and Ferrari. At the end of the 2018 season, Alonso temporarily left F1; in 2020 he announced his return to Renault and returned to F1 this year.
At the recent Hungarian Grand Prix, Alonso finished fourth in the race and helped teammate AuCon win his first race of his career, and Alonso was also named the best driver in the station.
