According to the setting in the play, this sixth sub-district is a military sub-district under the Jianghuai Military Region of the New Fourth Army, with Chen Dalei as the commander. On the surface, this sixth division seemed to be quite powerful, and commander Chen Dalei was able to run to sit on an equal footing with the commander of the Fifty-fifth Division. But in fact, there are only a few people in the sixth division.
At first, Chen Dalei went to the military region for a meeting and handed over the bottom to the commander-in-chief. He said that there were currently three battalions in the sixth division, but the first and second battalions were just a signboard, and there was no one at all. In fact, there is only one three battalions that are really built according to the establishment. Therefore, we can see that in the sixth division, except for commander Chen Dalei, the commander of the third battalion is the largest.
Chen Dalei's purpose in doing so was also very simple, that is, to bluff and make others think that he had a regiment in his hand, not a battalion.
Of course, there is more to six zones than that. The so-called normally organized three battalions are actually far behind. According to the normal organization, there must be three companies in a battalion. In addition, in order to facilitate the management and expansion of the scale, the military region will further develop a number of second-level military regions on the basis of the jurisdiction, which is also the military sub-district mentioned in the play.
The structure of the general military sub-district is actually similar to that of the military district, but it is only one level lower. The brigades under the jurisdiction of each division are units that establish base areas separately, and the "commanders" and "political commissars" of the military sub-districts are the brigade commanders and political commissars of the units to which they belong.
However, in the War of Resistance, the base area expanded more and more rapidly, and the manpower began to become more and more tense. Therefore, the New Fourth Army began to streamline its personnel, sending only a small number of backbone personnel to the new base areas for development. Often this kind of military sub-district, the family foundation is relatively thin, and the strength cannot be compared with those main military sub-districts, such as Chen Dalei and his sixth division.
Of course, in terms of the level of establishment, the sixth division and the main army division are the same. Therefore, the sixth sub-district should also be regarded as a brigade-level unit, and Chen Dalei should also be regarded as a brigade-level cadre.
Obviously, Chen Dalei was because of his family's thin family. That's why I thought of making a shell with the weaving first, and pulled up the shelf. When it comes to the reorganization of the troops, generally a military subdivision can quickly form a brigade.
In fact, this development model is very much in line with our original historical background. In the period of development, our army will often divide its troops into pieces, take companies and platoons as units, rely on a small number of backbone cadres to open up base areas, and eventually become bigger and stronger, and create brilliant achievements again.
A similar situation has been described in "Bright Sword". After experiencing the winter anti-sweeping operation, the independent regiment suffered heavy losses, and in order to strengthen the troops, Li Yunlong reduced the independent regiment into pieces and scattered them in company units, so that they could fight for themselves and rely on themselves. Therefore, don't look at the beginning of the sixth division when there are few people, as long as the shelf is set up, the back will expand quickly. I think that in Xiaohuangzhuang, the sixth division could not even fight a squadron of the Japanese army, and even almost was destroyed by the regiment, but in the end it could face the hard Matsui Wing. Judging from the comparison of combat strength, chen Dalei's men estimated that there was more than one regiment at that time, and it was more reasonable to think of the sixth division as a brigade-level unit.
In fact, for Chen Dalei's level analysis, many people have fallen into a misunderstanding. At that time, our army was in a stage of large-scale expansion, and at the beginning it was possible that one or two companies would be a military sub-district. With a good mass base and a favorable situation against the enemy and ourselves, we have developed and grown extremely rapidly. It is very likely that Chen Dalei himself was only a battalion and regimental cadre, but he only encountered this expansion and was promoted at once.
Therefore, perhaps at that time, Li Yunlong's level was not as high as Chen Dalei's, but he had higher seniority and military achievements, and the status of the two could not be compared. Even in the subsequent stage of growth, Chen Dalei may not be able to compare with Li Yunlong.
