United's recent record has been poor, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position widely questioned, with coaches such as Brendan Rodgers, Conte and Zidane already being listed as favourites for the next manager. The British "Daily Mirror" disclosed that Conte and Zidane are very interested in the substitution of solskjaer.

Neville insisted: "I don't think Conte will be United's manager and I personally don't think the club will choose him. He's a great manager, but I think the coach has to have the DNA that fits the club and I don't think Conte is right for Manchester United. Nor could Rodgers, who had previously coached Liverpool. But he's also a great coach."
