On August 30, the first session of the Seventh People's Congress was held in Songmutang Town.
The meeting listened to and deliberated and adopted the songmutang town government work report, the town people's congress work report and the town financial work report, reviewed and summarized the work achievements of Songmutang town in the past five years, and put forward the overall idea of the development of the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan". The congress elected Xue Xue as the chairman of the town people's congress, Xie Jia as the mayor of the town people's government, and Shi Miaoyu, Liu Kecai, and Yang Jinsong as the deputy town mayors.
