As mentioned earlier, there is a "Jiaozan" tomb in Daqing Mountain in Hushi, which is confusing, and today I will talk about a "Yang Liulang" cave on the east side of the Jiaozan tomb, and it is said that there are Yang Liulang arrows, which shows that the story of Yang Jia Jiang is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in Hushi, and it also shows that the story of Yang Jia Jiang is passed down orally by Shanxi immigrants in Hu City, forming a deep folklore in Hu City...

The Yinshan Mountain Range is the first largest and most majestic mountain range running east-west on the mainland, stretching for thousands of kilometers, like a giant dragon lying across the north of the motherland.

Has Yang Liulang been to Houshi? What is Yang Rokuro Divine Arrow on Daqing Mountain?

Daqing Mountain is located in the eastern part of the Yinshan Mountain Range, about 300 kilometers east and west, and more than 2,000 meters above sea level. It is not only a natural barrier in the northern part of the motherland, but also the geographical dividing line between the north and south of the Inner Mongolia Plateau. It has rich topographic and geomorphological resources and ecological environment resources, and has given birth to rich minerals, plants, animals, water conservancy resources, etc.

In the east of Daqing Mountain, in the new urban area northeast of Hohhot City, there is a famous mountain with an east-west length of about 20 kilometers - "Panlong Mountain", which has a profound historical culture and magnificent natural landscape.

"Panlong Mountain" is located on Daqing Mountain in the northeast of Hohhot City. Composed of limestone, the mountain is shaped like a dragon tumbling, so it is called "Panlong Mountain". It is adjacent to the world-renowned "Dayao Cultural Site", after hundreds of millions of years of geological changes, the formation of today's mountains and mountain appearance, although not as famous as the "Dayao culture" in the world, but no less than the magic, handsome and magnificent of Dayao Mountain.

The famous Lefu folk song "Mulan Ci", the song "When the Yellow River goes, stay at the head of the Black Mountain...", Black Mountain, that is, Daqing Mountain. Some historians in the Hushi area believe that Mulan camped in front of the "Panlong Mountain" in Daqing Mountain, and then crossed Daqing Mountain to fight the Rouran army in the back meadow.

According to the legend of the old villagers in front of Panlong Mountain: In ancient times, the mountain was thickly shaded and covered with clouds and mist, and it looked like several dragons playing in the clouds and mist from afar, like a fairyland. There is often a drizzle on the mountain, and the wonders of dragons, mountains and fog can be faintly seen, but the sky is clear ten miles away. After about an hour's work, the clouds cleared and the fog cleared, and Panlong Mountain returned to its former tranquility.

Locals have passed down to tradition that they must not go up the mountain on cloudy days, and those who go up will disappear without a trace. One said that it was sucked into the belly by the dragon, the other said that it was swept up into the sky by the dragon, and the other said that it was overtaken by the heavenly ladder set up by the dragon. In the village of Shaliang in front of the mountain, there is still a legend that the dragon stuck its tongue out from the sky, pretending to be a heavenly ladder, and was recognized by General Suiyuan. The many myths and legends of "Panlong Mountain" make it even more magical and mysterious.

But there is one fact that cannot be doubted, that is, the ancient Panlong Mountain, pine and cypress mountains, peaks and mountains, verdant grass and trees, and the ink-stained landscape paintings, can be called a wonderland on earth.

We can glimpse the majesty and majesty of Panlong Mountain from a pair of yang lian on the stone pillar of the mountain gate back then, and the upper link is: a long roar, the mountain singing valley. The lower link is: Raise your eyes to the distance, the sea and the sky. This yinglian vividly shows the majesty of Panlong Mountain and the majestic momentum of the four directions. Today, the mountain gate has been destroyed, and this couplet has become a rare and precious historical witness of the mountain.

Today's Panlong Mountain is affected by the climate, without the majestic momentum of the past, but left behind many natural and cultural landscapes. These valuable cultural resources tell people the glorious history of "Panlong Mountain".

In 2008, the Xincheng District Government built the "Daqingshan Ecological Asphalt Road" along the front of Daqing Mountain, about 20 kilometers east and west. After the opening of this road, people come to "Panlong Mountain" to view and travel in all seasons, people come to set foot in spring, escape the summer heat, come to autumn in autumn, and enjoy the snow in winter, immersed themselves in the mysterious wonders of beautiful legends and stories.

Panlongshan "Longquan Water" is located in Tagou, Panlongshan. As the saying goes, mountains are not high, immortals are named, water is not deep, and dragons are spiritual. This mountain spring water is called "Dragon Spring" because it is in Panlong Mountain, and it is famous for its dragons. According to the old villagers in front of the mountain, the spring water poured down from the stone cliff and slowly flowed out along the ditch, like a jade belt around the mountain, clear and transparent, sweet and sweet, warm in winter and cool in summer.

In the early years, the villagers in front of the mountain had the custom of worshipping the god Longquan. "Records of Guisui County" said: "Panlong Mountain... There are waterfalls and springs. Gao Yinbiao's "China's Great Green Mountain" recorded: "After the author's investigation, there are indeed seasonal waterfalls and stone caves. "Due to climate change, the groundwater level has fallen, and it has now become a seasonal spring, and the waterfall has also become a seasonal waterfall, and the people's government of the new city plans to develop Panlongshan, according to Shao Qinglong, who is in charge of the project, the Longquan water still exists, but it flows into the ground, and the spring is planned to be excavated during the development to make the Longquan water reappear in Panlongshan."

Under the stone cliff next to the "Longquan Water" of Panlong Mountain, there was a "Longquan Temple" in those years, which was destroyed in unknown generations. The author checked the historical materials and did not see any record of the "Longquan Temple", but the villagers within tens of miles before the mountain said that there was a Longquan Temple in Panlong Mountain, but no one can explain the origin of the temple.

According to the villagers in front of the mountain, the temple was a three-way courtyard in front and back, with a heavenly king hall in front and a small white pagoda in the back, with a pagoda temple-like structure. The ancient pines on the mountain are towering, the trees are shaded by the sun, and the dragon spring water flows for a long time. The red wall of the temple is simple and elegant, and the mountains and waters are very quiet. Unfortunately, the temple has disappeared without a trace, leaving only the mountain platform.

Although the temple is gone, the legend of "Longquan Temple" has indeed been passed down from generation to generation, and people's worship of "Longquan Temple" continues to this day. A few years ago, at the foot of the west side of Panlong Mountain, a new temple called "Longquan Lotus Pond Jing Temple" was built, which is famous far and wide, and people come here to worship, which satisfies the nostalgia and worship of the local people for "Longquan Temple", and can be regarded as the inheritance of dragon culture.

On the platform halfway up Panlong Mountain, behind the "Longquan Temple" of that year, there is a small white pagoda. According to the "Records of Guisui County": "There are ancient pagodas in Panlong Mountain, and it is said that Emperor Guangwu of Han built a tower. It is inferred from this that the White Pagoda of Panlong Mountain was most likely built by the Han Dynasty. This pagoda is a three-story four-square octagonal brick tower, which is very similar in shape to the Wanbu Huayan Jing Pagoda of the Liao Dynasty in Gufeng Prefecture City. The ravine next to the Little White Pagoda, known locally as "Tagou", has been used to this day.

The White Pagoda is an ancient Indian Buddhist building. India built white pagodas near temples to store Shakyamuni bones and scriptures, and painted chalk clay on the pagoda body to show the light of the Buddha, commonly known as "white pagodas". After the introduction of Buddhism to the mainland, pagodas were generally built when building temples, which were annexed buildings to temples and used for scripture books and spiritual bones.

There is an ancient tomb on the pedestal where the Little White Pagoda is located, called the King's Tomb or Uliya Sutai, because there were stone carvings in front of the tomb in the past, and the villagers are commonly known as "Stone Man Bay", and the identity of the tomb owner cannot be verified. In the 60s of the 20th century, villagers found more than 30 Warring States cloth coins and pottery fragments here, and the cloth coins had the inscription "Gandan", that is, the "Handan" cloth coins minted in the early Zhao state. King Wuling of Zhao rode and expanded his territory, building the longest Great Wall along the southern foothills of Yin Mountain, and this tomb may have been built in that era.

In the north of the Qing Dynasty, there was a small town on the ancient road of the steppe, also called Uliya Sutai, which is the city of Uria Sutai in the northwest of today's Mongolia. A city and a king's tomb have the same name and surname, I don't know if it is a coincidence or is there some historical connection between the two? Ancient temples, ancient pagodas, and ancient tombs are all in one place, which is a mystery.

Unfortunately, historical records record that the Little White Pagoda was demolished by the villagers in 1931, and now only the base of the tower and the tower tomb remains, and in the mid-nineties of the twentieth century, the tower tomb was stolen, and the public security personnel inspected and collected evidence and found that there was a large theft hole in the base of the tower, and there were white jade strips, marble stone cabinets and other remnants scattered outside the cave, and the lid of the coffin had fallen off, and there was nothing inside the coffin.

There is a stone cave in the middle of the cliff of Panlong Mountain, which is inserted diagonally into the stone cliff, and the locals call it Yangliulang Arrow Cave. The "Records of Guisui County" recorded: "... Opposite is Rokuro Cave, there is an arrow, quite huge, the native people say that Yang Liulang shot the big green mountain. "According to the old villagers in the elm gully in front of the mountain: In the early years, a wooden citron with a long length was inserted into the cave, and there was an iron hammer at the top of the wooden citron, and they had shaken this wooden citron many times, which could be shaken, but could not pull it out. Just like a popular saying among the local people, Yang Liulang's arrow can be shaken.

Folklore has it that when the Song general Yang Liulang was guarding Yanmen Pass, he negotiated with the Liao State and asked the Liao State to give up a place for an arrow, and Liao agreed, so he secretly sent people to enter the Liao Realm at night, pre-inserted this big arrow on the front slope of Yin Mountain, and launched it north at Yanmen Pass the next day, falsely claiming to be shot to Yin Mountain, so as to demarcate the boundary.

According to the Song Shi "Yang Yanzhao Biography", Yang Liulang's achievements in his life were in Hebei, and he did not guard Yanmen Pass. So, what is this Yangrokuro arrow hole in folklore? What era is this long wooden citron with iron scythes from?

Since the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Mongolian tribes have used "Sulu ingots" to stand in the camp as the logo of the tribal alliance, and "Sulu ingots" are made of wood as masts, with a long falcon-shaped front at the top, a hanging tangle on the front seat, and a tribal flag under the seat. Panlong Mountain was once ruled by Alatan Khan of the Ming Dynasty, and the camp of the three departments of Haleqin was in front of Panlong Mountain. According to this inference, the Yang Liulang arrow in Panlong Mountain is most likely the "Sulu ingot" of the Halleqin department. After the three parts of Halleqin moved east, it is said that this rusty mast remained alone; First, it is said that Mongolian compatriots planted wooden poles in the original place of the "Sulu ingot" and installed a large scythe, to show their thoughts for the Haleqin tribe, and as a symbol of the gathering of local Mongolian compatriots.

Gao Yinbiao's book "China's Great Green Mountain" records as follows: "Regarding Yang Liulang's arrow, the author once traveled here in the spring of 1955, and there was indeed a bowl of thick and eight or nine feet high wooden pole, and there was a ploughshare on the head of the pole, which was shakable as folk legend. "However, at present, the investigation here has not seen this arrow, but there is indeed the legendary Yang Liulang Cave. It is understood that the mast was chopped by villagers and burned by firewood in the early years, and Yang Liulang Arrow Cave has now become a landscape, waiting to be verified by experts and scholars.

Under the stone cliff of Panlong Mountain, there is a stone cave with a diameter of about 11 meters, which is called "Panlong Cave" by the locals, and it is said that this is the hiding cave of the old Azure Dragon of Panlong Mountain.

Old Azure Dragon is the Dragon King of Panlong Mountain, so it is also known as "Old Dragon King". According to legend, there are countless dragons in the area of Panlong Mountain, and there are nine with names and surnames, each with its own good and its own duties, and the old Azure Dragon is the largest of them.

There are many dragons, and there are times of discord, and once the fight begins, the sky is black clouds rolling, the rain is pouring, the wind is fierce, and the flood is like a flood, and the people are deeply affected. At this time, the old Azure Dragon would use the Dragon Spring Sword, purple qi ten thousand ways, the dragons suddenly paralyzed, and the wind and waves were calm in an instant. This Longquan sword is one of the three famous swords cast by the ancient sword forging master Ou Yezi, absorbing the brilliance of the two stars of Dou and Niu, and can shoot out ten thousand purple qi, which somehow fell into the hands of the old Azure Dragon outside Saiwai, and became the sword of Zhenlong of Panlong Mountain, the treasure of Zhenshan, and was considered by the people to be the sword of peace that blessed the side.

The dragon is a symbol of the Chinese nation. It evolved from a mythical beast in ancient times, to a later water god, and then to a later symbol of imperial power, and finally evolved into today's symbol of majesty, strength, wisdom, celebration and soaring. Dragon culture has a profound impact on Chinese and Chinese society, and has become one of the cultural phenomena with the longest duration and the strongest vitality in traditional Chinese culture.

The author has heard many myths and folklore about Panlong Mountain, among which the stories of the big black dragon and the little white dragon are the most exciting.

It is said that in the "Guan Mountain" east of Panlong Mountain, there are two brothers, the big black dragon and the little black dragon, and the "Black Mountain" in the west lives the little white dragon.

The big and small black dragons were idle all day long, eating and lazy, often causing trouble, stirring up trouble, harming the people, and stirring up the mountains and the flat rivers in front of the mountains. "Guanshan" was originally a picturesque treasure land, but the big and small black dragons were not good at management, and such a worldly wonderland was tormented and dilapidated, and later "Guanshan" was called "gray tengliang".

The little white dragon living in "Black Mountain" performs his duties, fulfills his responsibilities, benefits the people in front of the mountain, and the pines and cypresses operated by "Black Mountain" are towering, magnificent and beautiful, and people worship the little white dragon, thinking that he is a dragon that benefits one side. People called "Black Mountain" "Wood Mountain", which is still used today.

Seeing that Xiaobailong's "Liangmu Mountain" was picturesque, and the "Guanshan Mountain" became a "gray tengliang", the big and small black dragons had "pink eye" and regarded Xiaobailong as a thorn in the eye and a thorn in the flesh, and decided to kill Xiaobailong and take "Liangmu Mountain" for themselves.

The three dragons fought fiercely for three days and three nights, and due to their weak strength, the little white dragon was physically and mentally exhausted and bruised. At a critical moment, the little white dragon turned into green smoke and went straight to the Panlong Cave, lent the Longquan Sword to the old Azure Dragon, and used his last strength to stab the big and small black dragons in the black cloud. Only listening to two screams, two pools of black blood fell from the sky and flowed southwest, which is today's Dahei River and Xiaoheihe. After that, the big and small black dragons turned into fossils and crouched on the half-slope of Dayao Mountain, which is the "Double Dragon Mountain" (also known as "Dragon with Eggs") of today's Dayao Cultural Site, becoming one of the eight scenic spots of Dayao Mountain.

The lying place where the little white dragon was seriously injured is known as "Wollongong". Longquan sword fell from the air, the tip of the sword pierced a lake next to Wollongong, surrounded by lush vegetation, people come here in the spring to step on the green, summer to come here to cool off the heat, then formed a park, called "Longquan Park", after liberation changed to People's Park, later renamed today's "Qingcheng Park".

After the little white dragon cut off the big and small black dragons, it turned into a clear spring, flowing out of the "Liangmu Mountain" ditch, the spring water is sweet, clear and transparent, warm in winter and cool in summer, for the people in front of the mountain to eat, nourishing the mountains and rivers, which is the origin of today's "Zadagai River".

In order to commemorate and thank the little white dragon, people built a dragon king temple on the west bank of the "Zadagai River" to worship the little white dragon, called the "West Dragon King Temple". Now, the temple is destroyed, but the name of the Xilongwang Temple has survived as a place name in Hohhot.

This kind of oral literature passed down to the people is an extremely valuable intangible cultural heritage, and its rescue and protection are particularly important.

The "bronze dragon pillar" towering in the government square of Hushi New Town, 18 meters high and weighing about 23 tons, is the highest cast bronze "Nine Dragon Pillar" in the mainland. There are nine dragons on the pillar, seven spiraling and rolling, and two winding copper pillars soaring into the sky, and the dragons are powerful. The top of the column holds a golden ball, carved with a map of the new city block.
