According to investigations, the number of chip-related companies revoked in China in 2022 alone reached 5,746, an increase of 68% compared with 2021.
Based on China's refusal to "join the same stream" with the United States in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the United States launched a series of retaliations against China, from channeling Taiwan and selling weapons to letting TSMC withdraw from Taiwan to build factories in the United States, and the US Department of Commerce immediately announced a new round of unilateral sanctions against China. Domestically, the government also subsidizes hundreds of billions of dollars to start a new round of chip manufacturing and research. Midea's intention is clear, while curbing the pace of China's transition into high-tech industries, while stepping up to maintain technological superiority. The speed of China's rise is unsettling for them!
Gates deserves to be the richest man in the world, and his vision and insight are worthy of the name. Indeed, no matter how hard the United States tried, it could not succeed in containing China!
In response to the US chip policy towards China, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission immediately discussed countermeasures and announced three guiding opinions:
First, for the field of semiconductor chips, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial machine tools and other core fields, make every effort to solve the "stuck neck" problem;
