Two years ago, Detroit mom Janet Kelley adopted a stray dog, Blue.
A few days ago, Blue ran back to the scene of the fire at the risk of his life and guided the firefighters to rescue the shovel officer's youngest daughter, Chantal.
A good story of the shovel officer and the dog coming to the rescue of each other convinced Janet that Blue was destined to become a member of their family.
Two years ago, at a stray dog rescue center in Detroit, Janet saw a Labrador and pitbull skewer dog, a little scared, with confusion and uneasiness in his eyes.
Through the staff of the rescue center, Janet learned that the skewer dog had been wandering the street for at least a year and had only recently been found brought to the rescue center.
This rescue center is special in that they do not euthanize dogs, but continue to train and care for each stray dog until they are adopted.
Out of trust in the rescue center, Janet decided to adopt the skewer dog and name it Blue.
After Blue followed Janet home, after a period of running-in, it gradually revealed its original gentle side, and was very protective of every member of the family.
Not only take care of Janet's four children, but even the cat in the family is willing to enjoy Blue's care, and after two years, Blue has become the most intimate warm man in the family.
The Janet family lived in a two-story building, several of which were rented to others.
Last week, a tenant's child, playing with a lighter, accidentally set fire to furniture, and the fire rose so fast that black smoke quickly billowed into the house.
Janet found that the house was on fire and quickly beckoned the family members to evacuate, she touched several children in a row in the smoke-filled room, found cats and dogs, and the family rushed outside the house.
At this time, fire trucks have arrived at the scene, and several firefighters are preparing to rush into the fire to search for others.
Janet had just run out with a family, and the whole person was still in shock, when she suddenly saw the dog Blue turn around and rush back towards the burning house.
The firefighters saw the dog run back, and several people quickly followed, trying to drag it back.
At this time, Janet came to his senses and found that there was another person in the family who had not come out, that is, Chantal, a 1-year-old girl.
Before the fire, she was put in the game fence at home, and she couldn't run out at all.
Just as Janet was about to shout for help, he saw that the firefighters had already embraced Chantal and rushed out of the smoke, followed by the dog Blue.
Firefighters put the child in Janet's arms and told her:
They had followed Blue all the way to drag it back, and when they ran to the second floor, they saw their trapped little daughter Chantal, who rushed to the guardrail and kept yelling.
At that moment, the firefighters understood that Blue wanted to run back to save his young daughter, Chantal.
The fire was extinguished, and the dog Blue rescued Cantal with firefighters at the first time, and the family was finally intact.
Although the house was not completely burned down, but it could not be lived in temporarily, Janet originally planned to take everyone to live in the shelter temporarily, but because the shelter did not allow cats and dogs to enter.
Janet had to make do with the family in the car:

Currently, Janet is helping charities through this difficult period after the fire.
In Janet's view, Blue is her "greyhound Lacey" (a dog who has struggled to find her little owner).
