On February 26, gather at 8 a.m. to go to Yishan Scenic Area, after a simple 100-car self-driving launch ceremony, everyone began to climb the mountain, this time the climb is very easy, that is, take the scenery, climb the ropeway, all the way to the top of the Jade Emperor.
Yishan is the first high mountain inland from the East China Sea, and it is said that "the sea comes east to the east", and enjoys the reputation of "Mount Tai is the honor of the five mountains, and Yishan is the first of the five towns". 16 emperors of the ancient ten dynasties were enshrined here, thus leaving the famous "Dongzhen Stele Forest", and the number of imperial monuments preserved is the largest in the world. The scenic area is a national forest park, with a forest coverage rate of more than 98.6%, dominated by granite and gneiss, and the main peak is 1032 meters above the Jade Emperor, known as "Luzhong Immortal Mountain", which is a historical cultural mountain. Main highlights: Jade Emperor Peak, Lion Gul, Baizhang Cliff, Fayun Temple, Dongzhen Temple. As the saying goes, "Taishan Xiong, Huangshan Xiu, are not as good as Yishan big stones".
The summit area is not large, mainly including Jade Emperor Pavilion, Wanghai Pavilion, Tanhai Stone, Taiqing Cave and so on. The mountains are shrouded in mist, like a fairyland. At 11:30, our group of 12 people walked along the red boardwalk, remembering the tragic lives of the revolutionary martyrs, went down to the hotel, and after lunch, they were delivered by minibus to Dongzhen Temple.
Dongzhen Temple is a long corridor picture scroll that records the history of vicissitudes, with more than 20 temples such as Sanshan Gate, General Hall, Main Hall, Dormitory, Bell Tower, Drum Tower and so on. The stele forest in the temple is grand in scale and is one of the three major stele forests in the country. There are about 360 ancient monuments, including more than 40 imperial inscriptions and 16 inscriptions of imperial driving festivals or imperial sacrifices. The inscriptions are lined with inscriptions, which are important documents for the study of royal rituals, politics, economy, culture and other fields in different historical periods.
