In his later years, out of etiquette considerations, Emperor Yi chose his younger son Shoude as the heir to the throne. In order to comfort his eldest son Qi, Emperor Yi gave Qi a fief called "Wei" (the area east of present-day Lucheng, Shanxi), and made Qi a viscount. Later, people called Kai "neutrino Kai", or "neutrino". Emperor Yi also gave his second son a fief, named "Ji", and was also named a viscount, which is Jizi. Together with King Jun's uncle Bigan, these three people were called Yin Zhi "Sanren" by Confucius.
King Shun ascends the throne
After the death of Emperor Yi, Shoude ascended the throne as King Shang. Sages such as Bigan, Weizi, and Miko were full of hope that they could assist the king well and build a career, but they thought that King Jun not only pampered Daji, but also created a wine pond meat forest, invented all kinds of torture, and took pleasure in killing people all day long. Domestic resentment is boiling, and Zhou in the West is also about to move. The ministers who were loyal to the country were all anxious, but the king paid no attention to it. After the tragic death of a few people who dared to speak out, Qunchen no longer dared to speak, but secretly saddened in their hearts, afraid that the Shang Dynasty would suffer the fate of the country.
Stay or flee
Weizi knew in his heart that although he had a piece of loyalty, he was powerless to prevent the demise of the Shang Dynasty, and there were only two paths in front of him: either he would fight his life to advise the king, be killed by him, and fulfill the name of his loyal courtier; Either run away from the business, so that you can save your life and live a life without conflict. But if you choose the latter, you can't let go emotionally. Faced with a dilemma, he invited two friends who were usually very respectful, Taishi and Young Master (both official names at the time) to discuss.

Now the top and bottom of the business is irreparable. What else can we do as courtiers? If there is a catastrophe, we will bear it with the nation; If Shang is going to perish, we must not be slaves to the country. Shang is about to perish anyway, since it is useless to die in vain, I advise you to flee here. This is my opinion, everyone has their own way of being loyal to the king, and it is not necessary to give up their lives to be loyal. I myself have nothing to hesitate and intend to flee. ”

Dig into the heart and die

If you dare not speak because you are afraid of death, it is even more cowardly. I must enter the counseling, the big deal is death. What is the fear of death for those who are dedicated to their country? ”
Therefore, Bigan wondered whether the king would be angry, and ran straight to the king who was looking for pleasure to give advice, telling him the situation of the country, hoping that the king would wake up in time and save the country from danger.
King Cheng was said to be red-faced, but after all, Bigan was his own elder, and it was not good to have a seizure in person. He smiled and said, "I know your words, and I will remember them well." "Bigan saw that King Feng was not sincere, so he went to the king every day for three days to give advice, and his words became more and more fierce, and finally angered King Fen.
On the third day, when Bi Gan finished speaking, King Shun still said with a grin: "Uncle is really a wise saint." I heard that the heart of a saint is different and has seven holes. I wonder if my uncle's heart is like this? I want to see. After that, he ordered the guards to open Bigan's chest and dig out his heart alive. At this moment, the courtiers were so frightened that no one dared to say another word. Bi Gan died tragically, and Weizi knew that King Shun was hopeless, and the catastrophe of the death of the country was imminent, and he could no longer hesitate. So he packed up overnight, quietly slipped away from Yin Du Chaoge, fled to the vicinity of his fiefdom, and lived a depressing seclusion life.
Pretend to be crazy and avoid trouble
The news that Bigan had been gouged and the neutrino fled soon reached Miko's side. Miko said bitterly: "Knowing that it is useless to enter the counsel, and to give away your own life, this is foolishness." But failure to counsel will make the king's notoriety more prominent, and it is unfaithful. What should I do if I don't do it right? "It is unfaithful not to enter the counsel, and to enter the counsel is to send to death." Miko was tormented by the thought. Finally, he was ruthless, tore his clothes, scattered his head, smeared his face dirtily, and began to talk nonsense in his mouth. Everyone else was frightened and thought he was crazy, but they could only shake their heads and secretly sympathize.
From then on, the basket went crazy like this, mingling among the slaves every day, pretending to be crazy and selling fools. He wanted to use this to escape the pain of not being able to enter the counsel, and at the same time, he hoped that when King Shun saw his crazy appearance, he would not harm himself again. But his act of pretending to be crazy did not escape the suspicion of the king. When the king heard that the Miko was crazy, he felt very strange, so he went to see it himself, and found that the Miko was really unkempt and mixed with the slaves, rolling all over the mud, and chanting words in his mouth, saying words that no one could understand, and indeed looked completely crazy. However, King Shun was still half-convinced, feeling that Jizi was probably pretending to be crazy and fooling himself, so he ordered people to grab Jizi and lock him up.
In this way, the three relatives of King Shu, Bigan, Weizi and Mizi, one was dug into his heart and died, one fled, and the other pretended to be crazy and imprisoned. In the face of the dynasty that is on the end of the road, although the three of them adopt different attitudes and ways to face it, they are all full of loyalty, have always been respected by people, and left a good name. Faced with three loyal and wise people, King Shun not only did not know people and make good use of them, but also persecuted them, and the Shang Dynasty's rivers and mountains became more and more shaky.
