Coupled with the uneven mountain road, the ox cart lost its control, and the cart turned on its side on the snow with the people. His father saw that Ziqian's two younger brothers were not afraid of the cold, thinking that Ziqian was deliberately lazy, so he was very angry, raised the bullwhip and whipped Ziqian's body, and in an instant, where the whipping, the cotton jacket bloomed and the reed flowers flew.
It turned out that the thick-looking cotton jacket Ziqian was wearing was full of reed flowers. His father tore open the cotton jackets of his two younger brothers again, but inside it was brand new cotton. Seeing all this, Ziqian's father suddenly realized that this was clearly a stepwife abusing his former son. The angry father immediately turned the car around and returned home (this is the whipping of the reed flower cart ox back), hurriedly polished the ink paper, and wrote down the letter of recess, determined to drive his stepwife out of the house.
Seeing that the family was about to break up, Ziqian knelt down in front of his father in order to take care of the overall situation, and persuaded: "The mother is cold in one son, and the mother is going to the third son." Leaving the high cousin, the whole family was reunited. "I begged my father to keep my mother and save the family. When the stepmother saw this scene, she was deeply moved, ashamed, and regretful, and hugged Ziqian, and the mother and son cried together. Ziqian's father heard Ziqian's words and felt that what he said was reasonable, and he knew that his son understood the great righteousness and his filial piety was commendable. Looking at the stepwife, he really repented, so he gave up the idea of repudiating his wife. Since then, Ziqian's mother regretted and turned good, loving and caring for Ziqian, and loving and loving.
In order to carry forward his filial piety spirit, people called the place where the story took place in Du Village "the place where the story took place in the village of the flogging of the reed flowers", and renamed the "Du village" as "the flogging of the reed flower cart oxen back to the village".
Through this story, we understand that filial piety is not only a virtue and a courtesy, but also a wisdom and an art of dealing with family relations. Today, the country's longest village, named "Whipping Lu Flower Car Niu Return Village", has become a veritable Chinese filial piety culture and education base.
