Due to the bottleneck in the development of domestic technology, most varieties still need to be supplied by wild resources, which virtually accelerates the depletion of wild resources. In addition, due to the high cost of domestic care, the domestic scale of many varieties is still in the small-scale pilot stage, and large-scale breeding is not possible, resulting in a continuous high market.
Since July last year, affected by the "Earth Dragon Incident", the market circulation of animal Chinese medicinal materials has been strictly controlled, and at the same time, merchants and pharmaceutical enterprises dare not purchase and sell arbitrarily, and the high prices have been suppressed to a certain extent. However, the overall supply tension of animal Chinese medicinal materials has not been fundamentally alleviated, resulting in the market of this category continuing to fluctuate at a high level.
At present, in the production of Chinese medicinal materials, the breeding of animal Chinese medicinal materials accounts for less than 5%. With the implementation of the Wildlife Protection Law, the breeding of animal Chinese medicinal materials will also be more standardized and scientific, and the breeding of Chinese medicinal materials will become a high-speed growth plate in the future.
