First, understand the hazards of earthquakes
On February 6, two consecutive 7.8-magnitude earthquakes struck southeastern Turkey, and the latest figures: more than 41,000 people died. Two more earthquakes occurred on the 21st. In order to improve the awareness of earthquake prevention among teachers and students, master basic earthquake prevention and escape skills. On the morning of February 22, Wujiazhuang Kindergarten carried out an emergency evacuation drill for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
Children are invited to watch the Turkish earthquake video, when houses collapse, the ground is shaking, many people are buried under buildings, and children are scared!
Second, master the escape method
The anti-vibration drill begins, hears the prompt, and the drill begins. Teachers organize children to avoid safely, orderly, and quickly – choosing to hide under desks, in the classroom triangle.
3. Evacuation
After the main shock, teachers organized a quick evacuation of young children. Protect the head, key parts of the eyes, with school bags, hands, clothes, etc.
4. Reach a safe ground and count the number of people
Fleeing to safety, teachers count class sizes in time and calm the toddlers.
5. Report the escape
After the teacher counts the number of people, report the evacuation situation of the class and the number of people to ensure that no toddler is missed!
Through this exercise, all teachers and students in our kindergarten deepened their knowledge of earthquake prevention and escape, and strengthened their ability to protect and self-rescue.
