Blizzard recently announced a new 7-minute explanatory video for Diablo 4.
The video offers an explanation of the game world, including five different areas, no loading pages, tons of monsters to fight (you might need to be careful if you have a spider phobia), and an art style that permeates the world of Sanctuary.
Here are some of the perspectives provided by the video, taken directly from a press release issued by Blizzard.
● The art style of "Diablo 4" is dark and terrifying, and in many ways reminiscent of the horror atmosphere of "Diablo 2". There are five unique areas in the game, each with its own harsh environment and themed dungeons. One of the artistic goals was to make each scene look like a painting, so every color and material was carefully crafted to complete the ideal cold design.
● Every monster in Diablo 4 Vault has been carefully crafted into the darkest and most terrifying incarnation. Players will battle a variety of creatures, both new and old, and interact with other typical animals that may be encountered in each area.
● There are plenty of things to experience inside the vault – from fighting hordes of enemies and keeping towns safe, to completing side quests and conquering dungeons. Players can seamlessly move between regions and explore all that the open world has to offer.
Diablo 4 will be generally available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 6, 2023. The game will begin public beta on March 24 and end on March 26. Those who have already pre-ordered will have early entry from March 17 to March 19.
