Warmth is obviously the key to the highlight of the collection, warm water bags, artificial fur coats, large and thick hunter hats, etc., as well as the fur collar on the coat, fully reflect its warmth, probably the most in line with the autumn and winter attributes of the design that has appeared so far this season.
Although the Burberry Fall/Winter 2023 collection launch show is presented at Women's Fashion Week, it is clear that this is a collection of men's and women's combined releases, with design elements sharing and the boundaries between men's and women's clothing are not obvious.
Different from the dim background of the runway, the series is very outstanding in the choice of colors, red, yellow, blue, purple, etc., with bright colors. The previously previewed Burberry Blue is also very prominent in the series, and it is expected that like Daniel Lee's "Bottega Veneta Green" created by his former owner, "Burberry Blue" will also become a special brand gene.
Burberry's classic check elements are integrated into these colorful designs as patterns, and the understated intellectuality is very preppy with checked scarves.
In addition to the check, large areas of patterns such as duck prints, broken flower prints, and rose smudges arranged vertically and horizontally are presented in the design of this collection, although the patterns are dense and the overall dark tone of the style.
Burberry's classic trench coat can be said to have disappeared in this collection, evolving into storm jackets, loose suits and other styles, which can be vaguely seen to be made of the fabric of the previous trench coat, but it is no longer what it used to be.
As Daniel Lee's debut in Burberry, the collection can only be said to be decent, although the colors are bright, perhaps because the overall show atmosphere is dark, this series is still somewhat dull, and the style is not particularly outstanding.
