Head of all aspects of creative, financial, technical and administrative management involved in all phases of filming/television production from inception to completion. In a feature film, the producer may also take on the role of a creative, because his work involves all aspects of the project's creativity, acting as a bridge between the production company or investors and the director; investing a lot of energy in the script, the selection of actors and staff, art design, costumes, location selection, editing, soundtrack, marketing, and so on. Television production is a lot different.
