After announcing that Solo will not disband at the 2018 Kaohsiung Dome concert, Thin E.SO slowed down and spent a year of rich life. In early 2019, he planned an eight-day one-person backpacking trip to El Nido, Philippines. From the excitement of the first day, taking a nine-hour "pheasant car" to reach the destination, living in a simple grass hut by the sea; to the boredom of the "wall-hitting period" that no one can talk to for the next two or three days; and finally under the healing of nature, the thin man standing in the cool sea water feels suddenly enlightened, this trip gives him a new understanding of many ideas about life, and the journey returns. Thin E.SO spent a whole year making his solo album, he turned the feelings of travel into notes and lyrics, and therefore, Thin E.SO decided to name this personal album "OUTTA BODY", when he jumped out of the original framework to look at things, everything was as free and comfortable as "out of the soul".
