The 90-year-old contemporary documentary master Frederick Wisemanffer's documentary Boston City Hall topped the top ten list. Ranked seventh in the top 10, the Chinese film "Spring River Plumbing" is the first feature film directed by Gu Xiaogang, which premiered on May 22, 2019 at the closing ceremony of the 58th Critics Week of the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival. The film takes the long-scroll aesthetics of Chinese landscape painting as the creative concept, telling the story of three generations of a family on the banks of the Fuchun River in Hangzhou facing the test of family affection and life in the four seasons of the year, and has won many awards and honors in major film festivals at home and abroad, and the sequel to the film is in preparation.
