According to the British "Guardian" reported on August 30, from 2016 to 2020, the number of UK CRBT downloads decreased by nearly 30%, from 4.6 million to 3.7 million. A survey conducted by the UK Communications Authority in 2017 found that only 15% of young people believe that phone calls are the most important way to communicate.

The study found that 49 percent of young people prefer to send messages through social networking apps, even in the same room as the sending object. Because young people often stare at the screen of their phones, they can receive calls without ringing. Analysts also said that young people turn their phones to mute or vibrate so that they are not easily detected by teachers or parents when they receive information and calls.
