GIA accreditation reports are digitized
To further strengthen consumer protections and further promote the sustainability of the jewelry and diamond industry, GIA will launch full electronic grading reports in 2025, including the GIA Diamond Dossier Simplified Report (GIA Diamond Dossier®) that is now the first to be implemented in January 2023.
When GIA's accreditation reports are fully digitized, they will be presented electronically in a more convenient and secure format, and paper versions will no longer be published, making GIA's important transformation a truly modern and engaging experience for consumers. At the same time, it can save 20 tons of paper and 18.5 tons of plastic every year, and significantly reduce the carbon emissions associated with transportation, setting an example for the sustainable development of the jewelry and diamond industry.
