On the morning of January 18, Wang Guangfa, director of the Medical and Health Special Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the People's Republic of China, director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Peking University First Hospital, and member of the expert group of the new crown pneumonia joint prevention and control mechanism of the National Health Commission, gave an online lecture to medical and health workers in Anlong County, Guizhou, entitled "Diagnosis and Treatment of New Coronavirus Infection", which was welcomed by the majority of medical workers in Anlong County.
This lecture is a medical assistance activity organized by the Social Service Department of the Central Committee of the People's Republic of China in response to the call of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to help epidemic prevention in rural areas, and it is also the first phase of the "Enlightened Lecture Hall" in 2023 designated by the DPP to help Anlong County.
As a member of the expert group of the National Health Commission, Wang Guangfa went to the front line of Wuhan's anti-epidemic in early 2020, and was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual in the Prevention and Control of the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic in the National Health System" in the same year. He has rich clinical experience and has a number of excellent scientific research achievements, this lecture, the teaching content from patient admission, treatment to rehabilitation, from hospital management to personnel training are involved, with strong guidance and practice. He also called on everyone to believe in the ability of the Party and the government to overcome the difficulties caused by the epidemic, and encouraged medical workers to stick to their posts and make more contributions to the health and safety of the people.
The event was also strongly supported by the United Front Work Department of the Anlong County CPC Committee, the Anlong County Health Bureau and the Xingyi Normal College for Nationalities, and 297 medical staff of Anlong County participated in the training.
