Recently, the emergency management industry standard "Technical Specification for Electrical Explosion-proof Safety Testing in Explosion Hazardous Areas", which was drafted by the Provincial Academy of Science and Technology, has been approved by the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China (plan number: 2022-AQ-16), and officially issued a project.
The explosion-proof electrical testing project in the explosion hazard area is the first project initiated by ASTRI in our province and fully promoted and applied in Zhejiang Province. In 2009, the Technical Code for Electrical Explosion-proof Safety Testing in Hazardous Places (DB33/T775-2009), led by the Provincial Academy of Science and Technology, was first approved as a local standard in Zhejiang Province, which provided strong technical support for the hidden danger investigation and safety supervision of hazardous chemical enterprises in the province. As other provinces have successively carried out relevant work in the province, the demand for electrical explosion-proof safety testing in hazardous places is increasing, and the need to propose technical specifications for electrical explosion-proof detection in explosion-hazardous areas from the national level is becoming more and more urgent. As the first technical unit, the Provincial Institute of Science and Technology takes the initiative to give full play to its rich practical experience in this field, and actively strives for the approval of industry standards, which will provide testing methods and technical specification requirements for the effective application and reliable operation of electrical equipment and facilities in explosion hazardous areas, and fill the gap of industry standards in related fields.
Next, the Provincial Academy of Science and Technology will coordinate the preparation unit as soon as possible, set up a preparation team, formulate a work plan, fully promote the implementation, and further play a technical support role in the field of emergency management.
