My first independent trip abroad was to Nepal in 2011, where I took two flights from their private enterprises, one from Kathmandu to Chitwan and one to Pokhara to Kathmandu.
At that time, the private airport was on the left side of Kathmandu Tribu International Airport, which was like the bus station of the county seat in the 80s of the mainland, and there were actually 2 security checks after changing boarding passes. The conditions in the waiting hall were very basic, and the power was cut off twice while we were waiting for boarding, and when it was time to start boarding, a male staff member shouted to passengers in the waiting hall that "flight XX has started boarding", which made me laugh. After checking the ticket and boarding the shuttle bus (like the domestic bus in the seventies), the staff checked the passenger's boarding pass again. The people in the car all got on the plane and immediately closed the hatch and took off, and there was no counting of people, and I felt that their management was a bit chaotic. The small plane can only seat about 40 people, and the flight on the day has less than 30 people, but there are 2 flight attendants, and the flight attendants are still beautiful. As soon as she boarded the plane, the flight attendant gave each passenger a small plastic bag containing 2 hard candies, 2 small lumps of cotton, and 1 cloth (to avoid the cold). It was a little strange at the time, what is cotton for? After the plane took off, I found that the noise was extraordinary, and cotton was used by the plane to plug the ears [I want to be quiet] [I want to be quiet] [I want to be quiet]
After returning to China, my friend heard that I had taken a small plane in Nepal and told me that there were often plane crashes there, which scared me so much. Later, I learned that in fact, the planes that often crash in Nepal are the kind of small planes that only sit a few people to watch the snowy mountains.
