Tanaka plays a criminal police officer known as the Grim Reaper (ぎどうけんにん), who is active on stage as a dark hero type character in the play. The main director of this drama is director Yukihiko Tsukihiko, who has directed the "Trap" and "SPEC" series and is familiar to the public, and Tanaka is still the first time to play the leading role in the works of director Tsukihiko.
Originally written as a novel of the same name by Takahiro Okura, "Mr. Grim Reaper" is a suspenseful mystery drama. In the play, the "evil" criminal police officer Yi Teng endured in the Metropolitan Police Department, even though he was called "death", but he kept going through the cases that the police did not want to pursue until the truth came out.
