Today, the twenty-fifth day of the 12th month of the Gregorian calendar, is the Christmas day of the West, and it is the Westerners who commemorate the birth of their "saint" Jesus. However, this is not our own "Christmas" because Jesus is not our saint.
What is a saint? It is his thoughts that have influenced the bones of a group of people, and he is the saint of this group. Although Jesus is religious, there are many people in the West who do not believe in religion, but his ideas are the foundation of modern Western civilization and have influenced all modern Westerners, so Jesus is the saint of Westerners.
We, the sons and daughters of China, also have ideas that have influenced us for thousands of years, that is, Confucianism. Therefore, we also have our own saints, that is, Confucius Confucius who founded Confucianism.
Confucius has always been regarded as a saint by our ancestors, and the sacrifice of Confucius is considered to be as important as the sacrifice of ancestors, and even the emperor holds a ceremony every year.
Confucius is also recognized by the world, known as the first of the "world's top ten cultural celebrities", in the eyes of foreigners, we are all Confucian civilization circle, Confucius is our saint.
Indeed, Confucianism has become our Chinese national ideology since the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Then, after a thousand years of continuous continuation, the idea of benevolence, righteousness, and wisdom and faith has been deeply rooted in the bones of our Chinese sons and daughters until now. Now we advocate the promotion of traditional culture, which is also based on this.
It can be said that Confucius is not only the saint of our Chinese sons and daughters, but also the saints of all the countries in the Confucian civilization circle, and even with the branches and leaves of the sons and daughters of China in the world, the "Global Day of Worship of Confucius" has been formed.
