author:Unloading the grinding of the donkey

#Headline Creation Challenge#In 2019, seeing that the Guandi Temple of Jiyuan Xucheng has become a new batch of eight national security, I remember that this small Xucheng actually has three national security: Daming Temple, Ancient Xuguo Ruins and Guandi Temple.

At the beginning of 2017, I went to Jiyuan and played Wangwu Mountain (see my post), Balcony Palace (see my post), Jidu Temple (see my post), Yanqing Temple (see my post), Fengxian Guan (see my post) and several attractions in Xuan Town. That day, after seeing Fengxian Guan in the city, I wanted to take a bus to the town of Xuan, more than 10 kilometers south of Jiyuan City, to see the Daming Temple. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Xucheng was the state of Xuan, and during the Warring States period, it was first the capital of Han, and then the important town of Wei, and was one of the "famous capitals of the world". Qin Zhixuan County, from the Western Han Dynasty to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, was made a princely state four times.

Waited on the side of the road for half a day without a car, a look at the time is not early, or take a car to go, more than 20 minutes to Xucheng, the driver is not very familiar, along the road to find, see a brown "Guandi Temple" sign on the side of the road, think it is also a cultural relic it, have seen the strategy trance seems to be a little impressed, then got off the car.

According to the instructions of the fellow villagers, I walked more than 200 meters into the alley next to me and turned to the right, and I really saw it.

Don't look at this small temple, it was founded in the second year of Jin Dading (1162) and rebuilt during the Ming Zhengde and Kangxi dynasties of the Qing Dynasty. The building sits north and south, and the layout is quadrangle-style. The existing buildings are Shanmen, Worship Hall, Guandi Hall, Xibi Hall and other buildings.

The mountain façade is three rooms wide and three deep. Single-eaves hanging mountain-style wooden structure building, paved with bucket arches, Shi Zhenang.

The two stone pillars at the door are more peculiar, and there is a couplet engraved on them: "First Wu Mu and God Great Song Ancient Great Han Ancient Ages, Later Wen Xuan and Saint Shandong One Person Shanxi One Man".

As soon as you enter the courtyard, the open pavilion in front of the Guandi Hall is the worship hall of the Qing Dynasty, where people can worship.

One of the three old men, who was visiting the temple, talked with me a little, asked me where I came from, asked about the situation of Xucheng, and they told me that there were many ruins of the walls of the ancient Xuan Kingdom.

Inside is the Guandi Hall, which is three rooms wide and four rafters deep, and is a single-eaves hanging mountain-style wooden building rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty that retains the remains of Jin Yuan. The hall adopts the typical pillar-reduction method of the Jin Dynasty, and two front gold pillars are applied to support the roof. Under the eaves, with a real arch. But the room was too dark to make a decent film.
