In the early morning of January 13, Beijing time, a make-up match in the seventh round of the Premier League was contested. The Blues Chelsea are away from home against Fulham. In the 57th minute, Felix made a fierce tackle on Tate and the referee showed a straight red card to send him off, leaving Chelsea with one less man on the pitch.
Fulham took the lead again in the 72nd minute with an assist from Andreas Pereira and Carlos Vinicius scoring with a header to make it 2-1.
After 90 minutes, 10-man Chelsea lost 2-1 away to Fulham. After the defeat, Chelsea suffered two consecutive defeats, winning just one of their last nine league games. Fulham are on a four-game winning streak and moving up to 6th place in the table.
