As a new model built on the MEB platform, it will definitely be equipped with Volkswagen's latest technology, such as AR parallel display, 38cm (15-inch) screen, intelligent air conditioning control and self-illuminating touchscreen system.
For example, the intelligent air conditioning system has a lot of innovation, the air conditioning outlet direction will be monitored according to the location of the car key, etc., the air conditioner has been cooled in advance when the owner enters the car in summer, and the air conditioner has been heated in advance when entering the car in winter.

It is worth mentioning that according to the preferences of the occupants, the ID.7 can also recognize some particularly personalized commands, such as when driving in winter, if the driver says "Hello, Volkswagen, my hands are very cold", then the ID.7 will automatically start the steering wheel heating function, and the air conditioning outlet will also supply air to the driver's hand.
In terms of appearance, ID.7 still integrates the design language of the Volkswagen ID family, as a D-class sedan, excellent aerodynamic performance is naturally arranged in place, the lower body and the shape of the back naturally guide the air at the front of the vehicle to the rear to form an air curtain to effectively suppress the side airflow disorder, and the drag coefficient of the car is only 0.228Cd.
In the interior, thanks to the advantages of the MEB platform, the wheelbase of the ID.7 reaches 2.97m, which also creates more interior air to match the luxury and comfort advertised by Volkswagen.
In terms of power, it is reported that the new car will have two versions, single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive, with a battery capacity of 77kwh and a maximum cruising range of 700km (WLTP).
In general, Volkswagen has enriched the lineup of family electric vehicles again by introducing the ID.7, while strengthening its electrification strategy, even if there are objective reasons for insufficient semiconductors some time ago, but the total world sales of Volkswagen ID.3 still reached 500,000 units, which performed well.
