Warner announced the cast of the upcoming "Happy Candy House" remake, and filming officially began.
Timothy Chalame will play Willie Wonka in the film, along with actors such as Mr. Bean's Rowan Atkinson and Kogan Michael Kay. Other cast members include Jim Carter, Matthew Baynton, Olivia Coleman, Tom Davis, Simon Farnaby, Ricky Furcell, Sally Hawkins, Patterson Joseph and Carla Lane.

Paddington Bear director Paul King will direct Happy Candy House. The film will explore will explore willi Wonka's early life, telling the story of his famous chocolate factory before it opened. King and Farnaby co-wrote the screenplay for the film, which is expected to be released on March 17, 2023.
