Good things come in pairs

Loved that pale yellow leather shoes, in
Walk comfortably and easily in any weather
At the bedside, at the table
It looks flush with a low stool.
The lines sew out along the edges and go deep into the inside of the shoe,
Traces of handiwork.
Two white socks shrunk in place of the original foot socket
Two cats approached quietly in October
A small cloud moved over
Two people
Walking under my window occasionally said something low.
Loved it so bought back a pair and put it in
In the box at the top of the wardrobe, dust fell on it,
Thin.
