In order to prevent the victims from returning to the live broadcast room to make trouble and unmask the routine after discovering that they had been deceived, the fraud gang changed the password every time they broadcast live, and also "slipped away" after successfully committing fraud and changed the live broadcast account.

According to Xu's account, the amount of money that the victim recharges to the live broadcast platform is cashed back by the platform in accordance with the proportion of about 85%. Their scam cycle is 6 days, from pretending to be in love to cashing out gifts, which can be completed in just 6 days. In the meantime, the relevant live broadcast platforms have been seized by the police, and they have constantly changed the live broadcast links and continued to cheat. From June to September 2020, the fraud gang used the above methods to defraud more than 70 victims, including Wang, of more than 180,000 yuan.
