Although Croatia was eliminated in the semi-finals, the World Cup's "hottest fan" was not out yet, and Ivana Knoll ditched her usual Croatian colors and opted for black leotards as she watched France win 2-0 in Qatar!
Ivana played all Croatian matches in Qatar and still managed to recover her form after Luka Modric and his teammates were eliminated. The 30-year-old fan wore the Croatian shirt in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Argentina in the semifinals. But she remained neutral as she traveled to the Al-Bayt Stadium on Wednesday to watch France's semi-final against Morocco. Ivana changed into a black leotard with a deep V instead of the red and white plaid she usually wears.
On Tuesday, fans were delighted when they realized Knoll wasn't going home yet. Although Croatia lost to Argentina in the semifinals, they finished third in Saturday's play-off against Morocco and, therefore, Ivana will spend some more time in Qatar. Despite Croatia's penalty in the match, she lashed out at Italian referee Daniel Orsatto.
The expression of this fan is very good
She wrote on Instagram: "Sometimes we play great, sometimes we don't play very well. Sometimes in the semi-finals we will meet a referee as bad as yesterday, awarding a penalty in vain and thus losing the chance to get a trophy! But most importantly, we are a small country with a big heart and I am proud to be a Croat forever!
