My history of watching movies

Since I can remember, I have been very fond of watching movies, before going to kindergarten, I was fostered in my grandmother's house, my grandmother's family was in the countryside, at that time, there were often film screening teams to the countryside to put open-air movies, the first movie I watched should be open-air movies, probably "Southern Expedition and Northern War", I remember that at that time I liked to watch war movies, and always liked to ask adults which is a good person and which is a bad person.

When I reached the age of kindergarten, I went to the city to go to kindergarten, from kindergarten to primary school, watching movies is one of my biggest hobbies, some movies are organized by kindergartens and schools to watch, some are paid by themselves to buy tickets to watch, at that time it was generally 0.15 yuan a ticket, sometimes student tickets will be discounted to 0.05 yuan, remember that at that time my parents' salary was more than 40 yuan per month. The content of the film generally reflects the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, such as "Tunnel Warfare", "Mine Warfare", "Battle of Shanghai", "Red Sun", "Surprise Attack", "Shangganling", etc. For a while, under the influence of the Cultural Revolution, school organizations watched a lot of model plays, and model plays like "Wise Tiger Mountain" and "Shajiabang" felt that they were still relatively good-looking, but like "Harbor" and "Ode to Longjiang" did not like to watch it very much. At that time, there were also some foreign translations and productions, of which North Korea, Albania, Yugoslavia were more, of which The Yugoslav "Walter Defends Sarajevo" and "The Bridge" left a deep impression on my memory, from the storyline to the music, in my mind are first-class.

When I was in junior high school, the country had reformed and opened up, and the themes of movies were more extensive, especially romance films, kung fu films, and comedies, but due to the popularity of television and academic tension, the number of times I entered the cinema in the impression declined, and I basically did not watch movies at the high school stage.

After entering the university, I became acquainted with the movie again, because the school put two open-air movies every week, I basically had to see every week, "Red Sorghum", "Furong Town" and other movies were watched at that time, and the translation and production impression was "Wild Goose Death Squad", "Sea Wolf", etc., my first time watching stereoscopic movies was also watched on the university playground, called "The Adventure of the Magician", to wear special glasses to watch, at that time really felt very magical.

After work, the number of times to go to the cinema is less, the main reason is that the way of entertainment is more diverse, TV, computer, mobile phone replaces the movie, because at home, in the palm of the hand can be achieved, than to the cinema more convenient. Maybe there are only some blockbusters that attract me to the theater, such as Titanic, Schindler's List, etc., I still go to the cinema, and many other movies I watch online or on discs.

Recently, I have developed a movie viewing plan, which is based on two considerations: (one) film is one of the important forms of human art, and my life should not miss this wonderful art; (ii) my life time is limited, and I only watch movies that still maintain a good reputation after time precipitation. In the past two years, I have watched several movies with high Douban ratings, such as "The Shawshank Redemption", "Overlord Farewell", "This Killer Is Not Too Cold", "Saving Private Ryan", etc. I think this kind of film is indeed of a high artistic standard, from which I have obtained great aesthetic feelings and ideological enlightenment.

Hats off to all filmmakers! Thank you for making my life even more exciting!
