The Amazon fantasy drama "Wheel of Time" officially announced to be launched in November, starring Pei Chunhua, Daniel Henny ("Guilt/Crime Psychology"), Madeleine Madden (Australian version of "Picnic on the Cliff"), Joshua Stradowski ("Good Friends"), Marcus Rutherford ("Obedience"), Barney Harris ("Billy Lynn's Halftime Battle"), Zoe Robbins ("Dinosaur Squad: Steel Ninjas") and so on.
Based on Robert Jordan's classic fantasy novel series of the same name, the series is so complex that there are 2,782 characters who can be named. Wheel of Time is set in a world ruled by women, where only women can use magical powers. Pei Chunhua plays Moiraine, a member of the all-women's organization Aes Sedai, who embarks on an adventurous journey with 5 young people, and among them, there is a "reincarnated dragon" who can both save the world and destroy it.
Wheel of Time was originally to be adapted into a movie in 2009, but the project ran aground; Universal later bought the rights to the original novel, and eventually went around and came to Amazon.
