Recently, the "Shanghai Qingpu District Jinze Town Country Unit Village Planning (2017-2035) Santang Village Rural Unit Characteristic Peach Production Base Special Planning Description" was released.
The characteristic peach production base is located in Santang Village, Jinze Town, northeast of the intersection of Shitang Port and Cen Fei Road (planning), adjacent to the Xicen Science and Technology Innovation Center under construction, with a total planning area of about 4.34 hectares (see attached map for details).
Planning purpose: According to the "Reply on the Special Project Plan for Urban Modern Agriculture Development in Qingpu District in 2021" (Shanghai Agricultural Commission (2021) No. 327) and the "Reply of Shanghai Qingpu District Agriculture and Rural Committee on the Feasibility Study Report of Qingpu Characteristic Peach Production Base Construction Project" (Qingpu Agricultural Committee (2022) No. 8), the characteristic peach production base needs to build cement open ditches, cement roads, continuous greenhouses, modified atmosphere preservation warehouses and other facilities. To provide a statutory planning basis for project construction, this planning preparation needs to be carried out.

The area of this plan is 4.34 hectares, of which 3.81 hectares are orchards, accounting for 87.79% of the entire planning area; In addition, the agricultural land area of the planned facilities is 0.5 hectares, accounting for 11.52% of the total land area, and the planned water area is 0.03 hectares, accounting for about 0.69% of the total land area.
