On November 26, 2022, Malaysian-Chinese singer Cao Ge publicly released a divorce statement signed by him and his wife on social media.
The statement reads that "in the second half of marriage, each other often lives with an attitude that cannot understand each other, so they choose to end the marriage relationship and return each other to their original position, hoping to return to such a relationship and understand each other better."
Cao Ge and his wife Wu Suling have been married for 14 years and have a son and a daughter.
In 2014, Cao Ge once participated in the second season of Hunan Satellite TV's large-scale parent-child outdoor reality show "Where Did Daddy Go" with his children, in which his sensible brother Joe and clever little sister Grace were loved by many audiences, and Cao Ge also entered the audience's field of vision again with his children.
According to the convention of "Where Did Daddy Go" show, near the end of each season, the child's mother will appear and stage a happy drama of family reunion. Cao Ge and Wu Suling's family are no exception. But how happy it was at the beginning, how sad it may be to divorce now.
However, the divorced couple in the "Where Is Daddy" program is not only Cao Ge Wu Suling.
The first season of "Where Did Daddy Go"
Angela Wang Shiling's parents: Wang Yuelun and Li Xiang, divorced in November 2021
"Everyday" Zhang Yuexuan's parents: Zhang Liang Kou Jing, divorced in November 2019
The third season of "Where Did Daddy Go"
"Nana" Prince Coral's parents: Wang Baoqiang and Ma Rong, divorced in August 2016
Poppy's parents in the summer: Shakley and Huang Jiaqian, divorced in July 2022.
There are more than 20 groups of star families participating in the "Where Did Daddy Go" series of variety shows, but the divorce rate has accounted for nearly 1/5.
Divorce has become a social phenomenon, and both celebrities and ordinary people may encounter this problem.
Parents do not have to force their emotional discord, but I hope that all children from divorced families can have the love of their parents and have the best childhood.
