1. Cariacou Island Most people don't know that Grenada has three islands in the country, and this is a good time to introduce them to Carriacou Island. Like another similar island (Petit Martinique), this humble island is often forgotten. If Grenada is too touristy and touristy, it's hard to feel similar here. There are no boats, large resorts or souvenir shops on the island – the Caribbean lifestyle of 50 years ago is still the way it was quiet, cosy and relaxing. Cariacou has yet to be discovered by most travelers, there are wonderful hiking trails in the verdant hills, and the beaches here are destined to be on your "best of" list.

2. Underwater Sculpture Park White walls, wooden floors, pretentious patrons – you think all art galleries are like this? Grenada's underwater sculpture park is different. First, it's located nearly 230 meters below the surface of the sea, in Moliniere Bay, just north of St. George's. Life-size sculptures include women holding hands in a circle, a man at a desk and a lone mountain biker, all slowly wrapped in newborn coral. The original 65 sculptures were the work of Jason de Caires Taylor, and in 2010, 14 new sculptures by local sculptor Troy Lewis were also added, including an Amerindian deity. To appreciate these sculptures requires going into the water – but the effort you put in will pay off. Local diving agencies offer diving or snorkeling trips to the sculpture park, where coastal cruises also moor.

3. Petite Martinique The word "little" in the name was not added for no reason - this mini island is less than 1 km in diameter. Martinique is small, charming, and off-the-beaten, making it an ideal place to get away from it all. The central part of a volcano stands in the middle of the island, 225 meters high, occupying almost all of the island's space. A lonely road stretches along the west coast, but is hardly used – locals prefer to walk, nothing particularly far, what's the rush? The island's inhabitants live on the sea, either as fishermen or in rental boats. With a population of less than 1,000 people, most of the inhabitants are interconnected, and here you will find peace, tranquility and those precious little blessings.

4. Levira Levila Beach is a pristine stretch of beautiful sandy beach backed by eroding sea cliffs. Immediately off the coast is the tall and pointed Sugar Loaf Island, while the Grenadine Islands dot the northern horizon. Beaches, mangrove swamps and nearby waterholes are all incorporated into Grenada's national park system and are also important waterfowl habitats and turtle nesting areas.

5. Glenitan National Park Surrounded by rainforest, the Grand Etang Road forms a series of zigzag-shaped sharp turns, and the road winds up the hill, contrasting with the sandy beaches and waves by the sea. The mountainous island centre is often cloudy, like a lost pristine world, and the lush rainforest is teeming with life – including some overly friendly monkeys. A multi-day hiking trail through the protected Glen Itan National Park takes you into the rich forest.

6. Melancholy Rouge Bay In Melancholy Rouge Bay (aka Red Mountain Bay), let your toes sink into soft white sand and turquoise sea. The Caribbean is known for its snow-white sand and clear blue waters, and this beach is a prime example of that. It's comforting to be quiet and pristine, with only a handful of hotels and restaurants and continuous shade stretching to the far end of the beach.

7. St. George St. George occupies all the characteristics that a small island nation's capital might have. An indispensable beautiful old building overlooking Puerto Carinegi, one of the most charming ports in the Caribbean. Above the water, crisscrossing streets cling to the hills that divide the city in two; Along the street, colorful rooftops after the hurricane mingle to create a unique landscape, along with dilapidated mottled warehouses, grand stone old churches and a spectacular fortress. The main commercial center is located on the other side of the hill. To the south of Port Carinegi, the road to the resorts of Grand Anse passes near the lagoon, which is lined with sails and the hull of the mega yacht bears the markings of the high-end Port Louis marina.
