Foreword to "Hope: Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition"

As the main title of "Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition", "Wang" means to widen the distance, like climbing high and looking far away, observing the overall face of contemporary Chinese painting and visual art from a higher and more macroscopic perspective from a distance-and presenting the context of the current development of Chinese visual art language and the relationship with Eastern and Western cultures through the macroscopic appearance, from the surface to the inside; At the same time, "looking" also means looking back at the same great Eastern and Western artistic traditions through time and space, because China's modern and modern art has been nurtured by traditional Chinese art and absorbed the tradition of Western art.

Therefore, "Wang: Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition" systematically combed the paintings, installations and other works of art of current Chinese artists, came to Rome, the important city of the Renaissance, and showed them to the Italian public at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, which is of great significance: it is not only to let contemporary Chinese art travel through time and space to pay tribute to the great generation of Renaissance masters; It is also to carry out exchanges and dialogues with Italian contemporary art, so that the Italian people can feel the charm of Chinese art and deeply observe the development of contemporary Chinese art.

This exhibition will build an opportunity for artistic dialogue between the East and the West and a bridge of cultural exchange through visual art, and will surely leave a profound imprint on the history of art and cultural exchanges between China and Italy.

I like the words "big art", and I always ask what is "big art"? Is it an inexplicably positive energy? It's a clever blend of art and many technical techniques! It is the resonance of people's visual consciousness after it is activated! It is a realm that seekers strive to strive for! Is it a fate between life and art? For this seemingly simple question, I have been walking more than just on the path of visual art.

Art often has aesthetic and philosophical value, the content is complex and rich, and it is closely related to people's actual life, but it does not necessarily have to be entertaining at the mass level; Art is inseparable from the expression of emotions, to have a very important spiritual value, its objective role is to regulate, improve, enrich and develop people's spiritual life, improve people's spiritual quality, that is, cognitive ability, emotional ability and will level, even, science does not give up these concepts and elements. As a person who persistently pursues on the road of art, taking art as faith is the attitude towards her.

Some friends say that my appearance always makes people feel a sense of distance, in fact, my heart is most pious and authentic, loyal, but my personality and high sensitivity to capturing things are polar. My own slowest progress is "emotional intelligence", always do not regard life as a burden, but also find a harmonious fulcrum, maybe this is the happiness given to me by "big art".
