The US "military" website reported on September 21 that at the "Air, Space and Network Conference" of the US Air Force Association held on Tuesday (September 21), the US Space Force released its latest uniform prototype, which caused heated discussion among American netizens.
This uniform of the U.S. Space Force is very different from the blue uniform of the U.S. Air Force. U.S. Space Force Commander Raymond said the six buttons on the jacket of the uniform represented that the Space Force was the 6th largest military branch of the United States, and the buttons had the logo of the U.S. Space Force on them.

According to the report, the cut of the coat reminded some netizens of the uniform worn by Captain James T. Kirk in the "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of the Khan" movie, or the blue uniform worn by the actors in the American science fiction TV series "Galactic Battlestar".
Lt. Col. Alison Gonzalez, the deputy commander of the U.S. Space Force's plan of action, demonstrated at the conference wearing a new uniform that she said was designed specifically for women. This is the opposite of the U.S. military's usual model of designing uniforms for men and then for women.
Gonzalez also said she has been involved in helping develop the new uniform since the U.S. Space Force finalized the design last spring, helping to test different versions of the new uniform to see which one is most comfortable and fits.
But it will take some time for the U.S. Space Force's soldiers to put on this new uniform. U.S. Space Force Commander Raymond said the unit will collect opinions in the coming months, then try on the uniform and then promote it widely.
