The kapok made of large-span special-shaped over-sized steel structure has a mountain's mission for the lightness and opening of a flower. This super-large steel structure is made of more than 100,000 pieces of components, basically none of them are the same, and the entire amount of steel used is close to 50,000 tons.
When the International Finance Forum was founded in 2003, these builders were teenagers. At this moment, they will use 100,000 pieces of steel structures of different specifications to complete the high-altitude limit splicing, echoing youth with blooming petals.
The overall truss, weighing 165 tons and 99 meters long, was reinforced and hoisted by 32 wire ropes and a temporary channel steel. This is an important node at the connection of the petals of the steel structure kapok and the gate of the venue to welcome the world. A number of small steel structures are spliced together on the ground to create the overall shape, ensuring the most natural posture of the petal contour. The completion of the lifting of the 165-ton special-shaped structure, the slight eccentricity of gravity, will cause the force imbalance of the support bench, and the offset force must be corrected to the vertical up and down gravity at any time.
The engineer takes the pulse on the spot, and the precision calculation of the BIM model is like a CT fluoroscopic scan. In the end, the truss was successfully lifted into place as a whole, and the basic shape of kapok was presented in front of everyone's eyes.
