92 Black Rose vs. Black Rose is a Hong Kong comedy film directed and written by Lau Chun-wai; it ranked 15th at the total box office of a Hong Kong film that year, and was nominated and awarded at several Hong Kong Film Awards in 1993. The sequel is "The Righteous Knot of the Black Rose". In 2005, it was voted one of the "100 Best Chinese Films" by the Hong Kong Film Awards Association.

Huang Butterfly (Shao Meiqi), a child screenwriter whose work and feelings are extremely unsuccessful, is mistakenly robbed by the couple when he wants to commit suicide; in order to return the belongings left by the couple when they fled, Butterfly finds his friend Zhou Huijuan (Mao Shunjun) to accompany him, but unexpectedly becomes involved in a drug trade and mutual cannibalism.
