Review of "The Story of Ah Lang" starring Zhou Runfa

Today I will take you back to this "The Story of Ah Lang", which is a very classic Hong Kong film, directed by Hong Kong's veteran director Du Qifeng, with Chow Yun Fat, Zhang Aijia, Wu Mengda, Huang Kunxuan and so on.

The plot design of this movie can actually be a happy ending, a comedy ending, but the director arranged a plot reversal at the end, and the movie instantly became an incomparably sad tragedy: at the end of the movie, if Ah Lang, played by Zhou Runfa, successfully crossed the finish line, there was no major accident, he could make up for the mistakes of the past and have a happy family again, but unfortunately there was no if, only the result remained!

In this movie, as the plot of the movie advances, Ah Lang, played by Zhou Runfa, will gradually understand his young self and realize how scummy he was in the past.

Because he always thought that after giving birth to his son Bo Tsai, bo bo shirked his responsibility, sent the child to the orphanage, and then asked her mother to tell Ah Lang to let Ah Lang go to raise after he was released from prison, and she herself went to the United States to enjoy life. After years of reunion, after talking to Bobo, Ah Lang found out that it was Bobo's mother who had deceived them.

At the end of the movie, Ah Lang desperately wants to win the game, but in fact, he wants to take on more responsibilities, bending and speeding to re-round the family! As a result, after he rushed to the end, the car caught fire and produced an explosion, and finally he died in the fire, and the body could not complete his son, lover, and friends, and could only watch him die in pain, laying the happiness and hope of the whole movie, and finally turned into a phantom, only a song "The Way You Look" finally left only extremely heavy, sad!
